The Centre Parent Tourism Centre officially opened on May 16, 2013. This building, a timber-frame construction, reflects the historical purpose of the St-Joseph Museum.
Inside you will find a gallery for artefacts and travelling exhibits, offices, a meeting room, a storage room, a workshop and a souvenir shop.
A special display is reserved for the unique Laurent Fillion collection of cameras.
The Centre is also decorated with murals of the well-known Manitoba artist, Hubert Théroux. These murals represent the arrival of settlers in the region and the life of the pioneers of the Red River Valley.
